Multiplex PC Product Warranty Information

Every computer purchased from our website, Multiplexpc.com, comes with a 3 year mail-in warranty that covers the original parts and labor. We will replace, from date of delivery, any component that fails due to mechanical failure. We do not cover user data that is stored on any hard drive. The 3 year mail-in warranty includes lifetime phone and email support at no additional cost, which is available Monday through Friday 10am – 8pm ET at 888.707.2652 or support@multiplexpc.com .  Extended warranties are available at time of purchase. Please keep a copy of your invoice to submit with all future service requests.

1. Warranty:

« Repair or replacement of DOA product, failure of normal operation within coverage period at our option. The warranty excludes any user damage caused to computer and voids warranty at our discretion.
No deductible. The warranty coverage includes 100% coverage on parts and labor for a 3, 4, or 5 year warranty period (as determined by customer upgrade purchase at point-of-sale at detailed on invoice).

2. Policy:

« Any extended warranty plan which is desired by the customer must be purchased at point-of-sale.
If the product is received within the service plan period and is found to be defective, MultiPlex PC will repair or replace the defective component or product.

« Replacement parts will be new, rebuilt, or non OEM parts that perform to the factory specifications of the product at our option. If a product or component is no longer available, we will replace it with a product of equal or greater value at our discretion.

« In all cases, returned product must be shipped prepaid with a copy of the invoice. MultiPlex PC reserves the right to refuse receipt of merchandise that does not meet the above requirements, at customers expense.
There is no renewal after the Warranty expires.

Terms and Conditions:

The following contract becomes effective at Date of Delivery (D.O.D.) of computer.  MultiPlex PC, hereinafter known as MultiPlex PC, will furnish labor and replacement parts necessary to maintain the product specified in this contract in operating condition during the term of the contract provided such service is necessitated by product failure during normal usage. MultiPlex PC, at its sole discretion, may either repair or replace the product covered under this contract at our sole option. When a product is no longer available, MultiPlex PC will provide a similar product of equal or greater value. If MultiPlex PC chooses to replace the product, a new, rebuilt, or non-original manufacturer’s product of like kind and quality will be provided to the contract holder. The term of this contract begins at date of delivery of computer and runs concurrently and beyond the manufacturers parts and labor warranty up to specified length of years set forth in invoice. This contract may not be refundable, renewable, cancelable and is not transferable. This contract is available in the continental US only, not including AK, HI, APO, FPO and Puerto Rico.  International customers will be provided replacement parts after possible failed components are returned for inspection.  International customers are responsible for shipping suspect components back to Multiplexpc.  Multiplexpc will provide shipment of replacement part (or parts) to customer. 

What is not covered:

Periodically or consumed parts during the life of the product such as but not limited to batteries; loss or damage resulting from external causes such as dropped product, collision with any object, fire, flooding, sand, dirt, windstorm, hail, earthquake or damage from exposure to weather conditions, misuse, abuse, damage resulting from improper use of any electrical source, power surges, damage occurring during transport. All preventive maintenance recommended by the manufacturer to maintain the product in operating condition is the responsibility of the contract holder; loss or damage resulting from failure to provide recommended maintenance is not covered under this contract. Products with altered or missing serial numbers, any consequential damages occurring due to computer viruses, are not covered by this contract. MultiPlex PC makes no other expressed or implied service with respect to your MultiPlex PC products, other than limited service set forth above. In no event will MultiPlex PC be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to use such product.

What to do if product requires service:

Call or email our Customer Service Department during regular business hours and explain the problems to a technician to determine if your computer requires shipment to our offices for repair. Please have your original Extended Warranty invoice available when calling for service. All RMA numbers issued are good for fifteen (15) days from the date of issue. Prepaid shipping is required for all returning products and will be provided by Multiplex PC for a term of 1 year, after which return shipping cost is customers responsibility. The approved RMA number must be clearly shown on the shipping label.  When returning your computer please wrap the computer in bubble wrap and then place in a box with packing peanuts.  We will not be responsible for damage to computers due to incorrect or inadequate packaging. 

Monitors, adapters, and stands:

Monitors carry a 3 year manufacturer’s warranty and warranty service will be provided by the respective manufacturers. Multiple monitor adapters are warrantied by their respective manufacturers. Please see packaging for warranty information.  Ergotech and Chief Stands each carry a 5 year warranty, please contact manufacturer for warranty service. OEM stands carry a 5 year warranty and parts or repairs will be provided by Multiplex PC.
